Terms of use
The rules for using Spider, its website and its dashboard.
Updated on 30 October 2026
01The service
Spider is a Discord bot with a website and a dashboard at getspider.app, published by Avnids. Adding Spider to a server, signing in to the dashboard or using its commands means you accept these terms and Spider’s privacy information.
Spider is currently in public beta and offered free of charge. Features can change, be paused or be removed, and the service can be interrupted for maintenance or because of Discord. Spider is provided as is, without a guarantee of continuous availability.
02Responsibilities of server administrators
Each server’s administrators choose which modules to enable, how they are configured and which staff members can use them. They remain responsible for the decisions taken on their server, including sanctions applied automatically by the rules they configure.
Administrators must use Spider in line with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines and the law that applies to them, and inform their members of the features that affect them, such as message logs or image analysis.
03Prohibited use
You must not use Spider to harass, spam, defraud or harm people; to get around Discord’s limits or another server’s protections; to collect member data for other purposes; or to attack, overload or probe the service. Reselling Spider or presenting it as your own service is not allowed.
Avnids may limit, suspend or remove access to Spider for a server or an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk, including by adding it to a blocklist.
04Automatic detections
Auto-moderation, anti-raid and image scam detection rely on automatic signals and can make mistakes in both directions: a harmless message can be removed and a harmful one can get through. Spider does not guarantee complete protection. Teams should review detections and can undo them, for example with the “Not a scam” button.
05Content and liability
Messages, settings and files you create with Spider remain yours. You allow Spider to process them only as needed to provide the features you use. You are responsible for the content you publish through Spider, such as messages created with the message builder.
To the extent permitted by law, Avnids is not liable for indirect damage, for the loss of data or messages on Discord, or for decisions taken by server teams with Spider.
06Changes and contact
These terms can be updated as Spider evolves. Important changes are announced on the Spider Discord community. Continuing to use Spider after an update means you accept the new version. Questions: info@getspider.app. Last updated: 30 October 2026.
