Step by step

  1. In Community → Welcome, open the welcome tab and enable the desired delivery type.

  2. Choose the public channel and configure a direct message if needed. Compose text and embeds using the editor.

  3. In Goodbye messages, configure departure content and its channel separately.

  4. In Welcome or Goodbye, open Custom card below the message. Choose the composition, text, format and avatar; import a background and up to three images with position, size, rotation and opacity controls. Check the preview or download the PNG.

  5. Save and check the history after a member joins or leaves.

Welcome and goodbye variables

Use {membre}, {pseudo}, {serveur} and {nombre_membres} in their supported contexts. Departure variables include {date_depart}, {duree_presence} and {motif_depart}. Unknown causes remain unknown; the bot does not automatically infer a definite reason.

Messages and cards

Cards illustrate the message; they do not change the Discord profile. Configure images, text and colours in the interface and check empty fields. A DM can fail when a member does not accept server direct messages.

History

History lets you review welcome deliveries and associated assignments. After a deleted channel or permission error, fix the configuration and run a new test.

Practical example

Welcome {membre} to {serveur}! You are member {nombre_membres}. Complete verification, then explore the channels that interest you.
