Before you begin
Use security.manage and Manage Server to configure the module. The bot must be able to read affected spaces and perform the selected response.
Step by step
Open Protection → Messages and scams. Choose the analysis and protection settings to use.
Set affected channels and categories, exceptions and link rules.
Adjust available thread, forum and schedule settings. Check the timezone used for scheduled periods.
Save, test an allowed and a blocked case, then review events.
Make link rules explicit
Account for domains and spaces where sharing is legitimate. Several modules may analyse the same URL: define a response consistent with auto moderation and anti-raid to avoid accumulating punishments.
Available data
Content analysis requires Spider to receive the content. Missing data is not evidence that a message is safe or dangerous. Check availability indicators and module errors before concluding that a filter is broken.
