Before you begin

Use composer.manage and Manage Server. In the target channel, Spider needs Send Messages and Embed Links for embeds.

Step by step

  1. Open Community → Messages → Builder and select New message or a starter template.

  2. Give the message an internal name, choose its folder, channel and delivery type.

  3. Write the text, then add embeds with titles, descriptions, colours, authors, images, fields and footers.

  4. Insert variables from the picker and add available links. Check the preview.

  5. Save the draft. Publish when the message is ready; check the channel and history.

Composition limits

  • Message text supports up to 2,000 characters. A message accepts up to 10 embeds and 5 link buttons within the displayed validation limits.
  • An embed supports a 256-character title, a 4,096-character description and up to 25 fields. Total embed text is limited to 6,000 characters per message.
  • Use editor counters to check limits before publishing. Use image URLs that Discord can access.

Drafts, versions and publications

A draft can change without immediately sending a message. The library lets you find messages, duplicate them and review available versions or publications. Import and export reuse compositions; everyday editing stays in the visual interface.

One-time or sticky delivery

One-time delivery posts the message to the chosen channel. Persistent mode uses the sticky message system and requires its permission. Editing a draft does not guarantee every old publication changes: use the available update action for the relevant publication.
