Use messages.manage or channels.manage depending on the action, plus the matching Discord permissions.
Targeted cleanup
The /clear command exposes its filters and message count in Discord. Review the channel and filters before confirming. Cleanup depends on accessible messages and Discord limits; it does not back up deleted messages.
Archiving
Use /archive for the supported archive operations and check exact options in the reference. Verify viewing and export access before sharing a file with another staff member.
Locking and slowing conversations
/channel-lock and /channel-unlock control channel locking. /slowmode sets its message delay. For several channels during an incident, use Emergency mode preparation and preview.
