Step by step

  1. In Messages → Sticky messages, add a named rule and choose the channel.

  2. Compose the notice with the editor and preview. Check variables supported in this context.

  3. Set the message count, delay and cooldown between reposts.

  4. Enable, save and use Preview and publishing for the first copy.

  5. Send a test message: the old copy is replaced once repost conditions are met.

Repost cadence

Settings limit repeated reposts in busy channels. Trigger message counts range from 1 to 100, delay from 2 to 120 seconds and cooldown from 10 to 3,600 seconds. Choose a useful cadence rather than reposting every second.

Removal and suspension

Available removal or suspension actions let you stop a rule without manually creating several copies. Spider must be able to post and remove its messages. Check errors if the old publication or channel is no longer accessible.

Practical example

Before asking a question, read pinned messages and mention what you have already tried.
