Before you begin
Have the matching Spider permission, the required Discord permission and a role above the target. The bot’s role must also be high enough.
Step by step
Open Members and search for a name or Discord ID.
Review the profile, roles and existing cases to choose an appropriate response.
Choose Warn, Timeout or another action. Enter a clear reason and a duration when required.
Review the target and summary, then confirm. Check the case status and any private notification.
Warnings, notes and timeouts
A warning is part of disciplinary history and may trigger configured thresholds. An internal note is information for staff. A timeout temporarily restricts participation; a kick removes the member and a ban prevents rejoining until unbanned.
What is recorded
The case records the actor, target, reason, date and action status. A direct message may fail when a member blocks DMs; use the recorded action status rather than the DM alone to determine the result.
