Before you begin
Use welcome.manage and Manage Server. Spider needs Manage Roles and must be above the selected roles.
Step by step
Open Community → Welcome → Automatic roles.
Choose roles for members and for bots using the available options.
Set any required delays and exceptions. Check consistency with pending and verified captcha roles.
Save and test a new join. Review history if a role is not assigned.
Coordinate access
If an automatic role grants channel access, it may allow entry before verification. Reserve main access for the verified role when verification is required.
Roles that cannot be assigned
Bot, integration and boosting roles cannot be assigned like ordinary roles. Replace roles above Spider or no longer available in the configuration.
