Step by step
In Discord, open Server Settings › Integrations, then select Spider.
Choose a command (for example /ban), remove @everyone if needed and add your Moderator role. You can also limit a command to certain channels.
On the dashboard, open Settings › Groups and give the Moderation group the actions it can take (warn, timeout, kick, ban).
Test with a staff account: the command appears in Discord and the action only goes through when both permissions are met.
Two checks that work together
Discord’s Integrations decide who sees and can run a command. Spider then checks the group permission, the matching Discord permission and the role hierarchy before acting. By default, each moderation command already requires the right Discord permission (Ban Members for /ban, for example).
Banning someone who is not on the server
/ban also accepts a Discord ID: the person is banned before they even join, which helps after a raid or for an account reported elsewhere.
Commands available everywhere
Installed on your account, Spider follows you in DMs and on servers without it: /spider, /presentation, /avatar, /banner and /botinfo work there. Moderation and settings commands stay on servers where Spider is present.
