Step by step

  1. Open Settings › History. Changes are grouped by day, the most recent first.

  2. Each line shows the module, the author (or “Spider or an automation”), the time and the changed settings, with the old and new value.

  3. “Open” goes to the module’s page. “Restore the previous version” puts the whole module back as it was before this change.

  4. To undo a single point, hover a setting’s line and select “Restore only this setting”: the rest of the module keeps its current values.

A restore is recorded too

Restoring creates a new history entry, so you can undo a restore the same way. A list item added since (a rule, a level) is removed; a deleted item comes back whole.

What is recorded

Every save of a module from the dashboard, a command or an automation (quick setup, import, restore) creates an entry. Only settings that actually changed are shown, up to fifteen per entry.
