Before you begin
The Discord Timeout Members permission, or a Spider group that grants moderation access. Each button then checks the exact right for its action.
Step by step
Type
/modin any channel. The panel is shown to you only, with today’s sanctions, open reports, pending appeals and timed-out members. For a member, use “Search a member…” or
/mod membre:@name. The file shows their account age, trust score, sanctions, notes, strike points and name changes.Pick the action below the file (warn, time out, kick, ban, add points, clean their messages…), enter the reason and confirm.
“Full console” opens the moderation console as a Discord Activity, for longer work.
Panel tabs
- Home: today’s figures, latest sanctions and member search.
- Queues: reports and appeals to handle, with who took ownership.
- Channel: lock or unlock writing, set slowmode and clean messages (last 1 to 100, filtered by member, bots, links, files or contained text). Pinned messages and those older than 14 days are not deleted.
- Emergency: emergency mode, anti-raid protections and bulk actions.
A member’s recent messages
In the file’s History tab, “Recent messages” gathers the member’s latest messages across every channel, with a link to each. Spider goes through the 100 latest messages of the 40 most active channels you can read: a channel hidden from you is never searched.
Emergency mode
Emergency mode locks writing on the whole server, then restores the exact previous permissions when you click “Restore permissions” or at the planned end. The panel shows how many channels are still locked.
Bulk actions
In Emergency › Bulk actions, select up to 25 members (or take the latest arrivals), then warn, time out, kick or ban them with one reason. A summary shows how many actions succeeded; each member gets their own case.
