Step by step

   Open Moderation › Watchlist, choose the member and write the reason (for example “new account posting links”), then select Watch. The Watch button on a member profile does the same.

   Each watched member has a card: reason, date added and what happened since (deleted messages, sanctions, username or nickname changes). “See profile” opens their profile.

   For live alerts, enable the Live alerts block, choose the channel and what to report: messages, name changes, voice channels.

   When watching is no longer needed, select “Stop watching”.

Live alerts

The team is warned when a watched member writes (with an excerpt and a link to the message), changes username or nickname, or joins a voice channel. Each alert recalls the reason and offers a File button. To avoid noise, message and voice alerts are sent at most once every 10 minutes per member; name changes are always reported.

Discretion

The member is never told they are being watched. Choose a staff-only alert channel. A member who leaves the server stays in the list, marked “left the server”.
