Step by step
Open Settings › General (or the Settings button on Home).
At the top, the Spider card shows the bot’s profile on your server; “Edit profile” changes its name, avatar, banner and bio.
In Server, choose the language of Spider’s commands and messages, and enable “Sanction direct messages” if members should be told privately. Save.
The configuration tools at the bottom of the page prepare or check several modules at once.
Configuration tools
- Quick setup: a wizard that prepares several modules at once from a pack, with a summary before applying and a way back.
- Import from another bot: bring over settings from RaidProtect, DraftBot, Dyno, Wick, MEE6 and others.
- Copy a configuration: reuse settings from another server you manage.
- Server diagnostics: checks Spider’s permissions, its role position and incomplete settings, with an explanation for each issue.
- My templates: save your own packs to reuse them.
Moderation console
The Moderation console block enables the console your team opens in Discord with /mod, then “Full console”. A panel channel is optional: /mod also works without one. Each moderator’s permissions apply to every action.
Direct messages sent on behalf of the server
Every direct message Spider sends for your server (sanction, appeal, application, giveaway win, report, invite after a raid) ends with a discreet line: “This message was sent automatically by the server … Spider is not responsible for its content.” The member knows where the message comes from. Personal reminders and Spider’s messages to the owner do not carry this line.
Spider support access
If the Spider team requests temporary access to help you, the request appears here. You can accept or decline it; access expires automatically.
